Around Faridabad
Faridabad, India seems as if it is rolling with all of the new advances in education, technology and industrial products since its population explosion in the 1990’s. Faridabad is a leader in all of India as far as how to adapt and how to accept the newer, more modernized changes that are happening worldwide in today’s world. While Faridabad seems as if it is able to adapt through its communication and transportation increases, its neighbors in India are starting to follow their lead.

It is the neighbors who border Faridabad that make it the city that it is today. Its primary neighbors are Gurgaon, NOIDA and New Delhi.

Gurgaon is also in the state of Haryana in northern India and it features a population roughly half of that of Faridabad - one million. Gurgaon is known as a part of the National Capital Region and one of Delhi’s four major satellite cities. While Gurgaon is not part of National Capital Territory it is still one of Faridabad’s biggest neighbors and is transported often between the two cities.

The New Okhla Industrial Development Authority is another of Faridabad’s neighbors also known as NOIDA. This government department is associated with Uttar Pradesh in Gautam Buddha Nagar District, India. NOIDA did not come into existence until 1976 but since then has played a large role as a neighbor of Faridabad. NOIDA is also thought of to be one of the more modern suburbs of Delhi.

New Delhi is also an influential neighbor of Faridabad because it is a more urbanized area that is nearly in the metropolis of Delhi itself. New Delhi is also the capital city of India and the home of the Indian government which consists of both the New Delhi Municipal Council and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
Faridabad, India relies on its neighbors as a part of India and it is its neighbors that help Faridabad constantly develop into the industrial forerunner in all of India.
