Faridabad People
Faridabad started off as a place where Pakistan people could escape in the 1600’s and find good work and great landscapes. Since the founding of Faridabad, India in 1607 however it has become a place where diversity spreads rapidly through the people groups. There are numerous ethnicities and religions and multiple backgrounds. Since the 1990’s the population of Faridabad exploded and people from all different nationalities started coming into the city and starting up residency.

The majority of people in Faridabad are there primarily because of their ancestors. Especially in “Old Faridabad” is there a feeling of older generations gone past. In Old Faridabad (in the northern parts of the city) reside many people who can trace their ancestors as far back as the 1600’s. Old Faridabad is known as the oldest part of Faridabad as a whole and is visited often solely because of its historical nature.

Because Faridabad is a nation leader in industrial products, it’s people benefit largely in a modernized way of life. While many people do decide to live in solitude among the foothills, many people choose to live in a more cushioned lifestyle. This modernized lifestyle has escalated since its population skyrocket back in the 90’s (now over 2 million residents).

Many of the residents of Faridabad are hard working, everyday people who thrive off of working in the industrial and agricultural fields. The hard working people of the city are the ones who have led to the growth of Faridabad and of India as a whole. The people started from humble beginnings to bring Faridabad into the powerful city that it is today.
