Faridabad Tourism and Recreation

Faridabad, India is a very resourceful place for the enhancement of India’s economy but many people overlook its attraction to the tourists that flock to the cities doors. Faridabad specializes in industrial manufacturing and agricultural growth, much which stabilize the majority of the Indian people. However, the recreation and tourist attractions still will amaze those who do come to the city.

Since Faridabad is in such a great geographical location, with the foothills and rivers bordering it, Bhadkal Lake and Suraj Kund serve as natural landmarks for those who want to get a glimpse of the beauty of Faridabad. Ever since Faridabad started growing in population, more and more of these natural marks disappeared. Many still enjoy visiting “Old Faridabad” as it is often referred to as.
Tourists also enjoy heading out to some of the newest shopping centers and recreational bowling alleys in the city. Again, thanks to the population growth in Faridabad in the 1990’s, the city began to expand to reach a generation that leaned towards the large scale shopping malls. The SRS World and Ansal Crown Plaza are the two biggest malls in the city that seem to be just the beginning for a more modernized people group.

Faridabad also features worldwide fast food merchants such as Subway and McDonalds as well as shops like Ebony and Vibe. The entire city seems to be shaping itself to fit a younger generation appeal.

With ten more shopping malls in the making and the National Highway connecting them throughout the city, Faridabad is looking at a bright future that involves an increase in its tourists and its recreation opportunities for those residents there already.
